Automotive General Sales Representative
Dealership Location TBC
The Automotive General Sales Representative is responsible for supporting a team of highly productive Sales staff that can achieve sales and revenue growth expectations and provide a high standard of customer service. This individual will comply with Company policies and procedures and stay up to date on marketing and promotional information. The Automotive General Sales Representative is personally responsible for developing a passionate, customer-focused mindset that achieves repeat business through the development of strong relationships and by regularly exceeding customer expectations. Additional duties will be assigned as necessary.
Job Duties
-Address customer inquiries and complaints
-Greet and guide customer as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process
-Assist the customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs by using the current inventory information
-Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles features on the lot
-Assist customers in the completion of their sales applications
-Assist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles daily, reporting any problems to management
-Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales
-Encourage the development of lasting client-dealership relationships
-Manage New Vehicle Transit deliveries by checking them in, creating invoice and inputting them into Global-i and accounting systems
-Encourage a high level of extended warranty and other protection and accessory plans
-Liaise with finance, service, and other departments to help facilitate sales
-Model and champion Leslie Ford values
-Create and maintain a high level of morale and enthusiasm for Leslie Ford products
-Set and manage the achievement of individual sales targets
-Implement and execute the company’s marketing strategy and business plans
-Complete monthly formal reports of personal sales performance
-Agree to achievable delivery timetables
-Assist with vehicle inventory management
-Organize and maintain Dealership Lot by ensuring vehicles are clear of snow and lot can be cleared of snow
-Ensure vehicle window sheets are managed and kept up to date

Requirements
-High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
-Current Provincial Drivers License
-Proven sales abilities
-A passion for customer service and Automobiles
-Extensive experience in sales management and particularly that of staff motivation and
-Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
-Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business
partners, and customers
-Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives
-Able to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing
maintenance practices as needed

Automotive Service Technician
The Automotive Service Technician inspects, maintains and repairs automobiles that run on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels like ethanol. He/she executes basic care maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes, diagnosing complex problems, and planning and executing vehicle repairs.
Job Duties
-Test to check whether systems and components are secure and are working properly
-Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
-Drive the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers
-Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
-Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
-Follow a checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined
-Watch or inspect closely parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items
-Use power tools like pneumatic wrenches in order to remove bolts easily and quickly
-Use machine tools, such as grinding machines and lathes to rebuild brakes
-Use common hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, to work on small-scale parts
-Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor
-Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
-Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drivetrain, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
-Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
-Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups
-Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
-Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions.
-Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit.
-Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
-Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
-Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
-High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
-5+years of direct work experience in automotive repairs and service
-Extensive knowledge of different automobiles and their service needs
-Professional demeanor
-Efficient problem-solving skills
-Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
-Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
-Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
-Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
-Ability to work individually and as part of a team
-High level of integrity and work ethic
-Must possess a valid driver’s license
-Experience with customer service preferred
-Up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
-Is able to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
-Is able to work independently, managing his or her time and workflow
